Museum volunteers play a very important role at the Historical Museum.

• Opportunities include construction and preparation of exhibit
• Greeting visitors who want to tour the Museum.
• Assisting Museum staff with their special projects and events.
• Being a guide for groups of children visiting the Museum.

If you have a knowledge of a particular part of Cherokee County history, please consider sharing it with us. Together we will figure out how to share your knowledge with our visitors.

Join our team and make a significant contribution to the Cherokee County community, have fun, and meet other people who also enjoy new civic opportunities.

We will ask that you be available for a minimum of 4 hours per week. But we want your help, so we promise to be very flexible. We will help you get familiar with the daily operation so that you will feel comfortable when you volunteering.
